| Zuraya rests at Makoma, where a wooded hill rises above open plains and the Seronera River curves along the far edge. Grassland gives way to slopes and granite kopjes, home to resident lions and cheetahs—one of only a handful of resident cheetah territories in the southern Serengeti.
