| Kinasi Lodge is Mafia Island’s first boutique resort opened in late 1995 and improved and upgraded many times since, in order to stay with the times and to offer personalised services for our fifteen double, twin, triple and family rooms. Classic F&B is our trademark and we have just initiated an Italian-style café and Cocktail Bar services using all our own syrups, extracts and liquors.
The resort includes all the facilities of a fully-equipped island destination – PADI five-star resort centre for scuba and snorkel excursions, specialised boats for diving, whale shark trips and snorkel activities, trained guides for culture, archaeology and history tours, adventure kite-boarding and training around the beaches of Mafia, catch-release sports fishing for those wishing to try Mafia’s range of game fish
Special events for nature lovers include the whale shark season from as early as June through March each year, the annual turtle-hatching season (over 100 nests) from June to September, and all-year scuba diving at the best sites in East Africa. |
